About Us

Our Story

In 2005, DHL Global Forwarding, the world's largest provider of air and ocean freight services, and Lufthansa Cargo, one of the world’s leading cargo carriers, established an innovative and unique foundation for a new joint-venture company named LifeConEx.

LifeConEx was developed to provide unprecedented cold chain services for the life science industry as the only end-to-end lead cold chain solutions provider.

The idea of an improved, streamlined cold chain process became a reality when LifeConEx orchestrated its first shipments for life science customers. By doing so, we have successfully established a specialty arena of temperature-sensitive cargo. As the life science industries are catapulting themselves and their products into the future, LifeConEx is the logistics transportation partner of choice for superior quality, competence, and efficiency.

Our unbiased, data-driven approach to cold chain technology and infrastructure, driven by our analysis and measurement of freight forwarders, carriers, ground handlers, packaging types, and data loggers has earned us the position as the expert among prominent pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies.
